1. Who May Use the App
You may use On-Device AI only if you can form a binding agreement under applicable law and may lawfully use your device, its operating system, and its photo library. If you use the app on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
The app is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the app only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian as required by local law.
2. The Service
On-Device AI provides tools that help you:
- Review and free storage related to photos and videos in your system photo library.
- Review privacy-related photo categories generated by on-device analysis.
- Run basic device, network, and identity-leak checks that you start yourself.
Features depend on device permissions, local media availability, network conditions, and the current app version. Results are assistive. The app does not replace professional security advice, legal advice, backup software, or a full device management suite.
3. Photo Library Actions and Deletion Risk
Some features need permission to access your photo library. You control that permission in iOS. Declining or limiting permission can prevent Clean and Privacy features from working or reduce the media available to the app.
On-Device AI uses your photo library as supplied by your device. It does not replace a backup strategy. Keep independent copies of important photos and videos and review your device backup settings before taking actions that affect your library.
When you use keep, pending trash, restore, or delete features, you choose the media involved and authorize the resulting action. Deletion requests are handled through Apple's photo-library APIs and may permanently remove selected items from the library, subject to Recently Deleted recovery windows, iCloud Photos sync, Shared Albums, and backup restoration behavior. We cannot promise that deleted media can be recovered.
4. Safety and Network Tools
Device Security Check, Network Security Check, and Identity Leak Detection provide informational results based on available device signals, network conditions, or public breach records. They may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. They are not a guarantee that your device, network, accounts, or identity are secure.
Identity Leak Detection only runs when you voluntarily enter an email address and start a scan. That lookup uses a third-party public breach-lookup service. You are responsible for the email address you submit and for how you act on any results.
5. Subscriptions and Purchases
The app may display free-trial or subscription messaging. If a paid subscription or in-app purchase is offered in a released build, the purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. Pricing, free-trial length, renewal timing, and cancellation controls are shown in the purchase flow and managed through your Apple ID settings.
Unless required by law or Apple's policies, fees already charged for a started subscription period are handled according to the App Store rules in effect at the time of purchase. You can manage or cancel auto-renewable subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
If a future version changes purchase terms, the app or store listing will present the applicable price and terms before you complete a purchase.
6. Acceptable Use
You are responsible for the device and media library you connect to On-Device AI, the choices you make inside the app, and the information you provide through any support channel. Use the app lawfully and respect the privacy, intellectual-property, and publicity rights of people represented in your media.
- Do not use the app for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the app or website except where applicable law permits that activity.
- Do not submit spam, malware, or misleading information through support channels.
- Review permissions and selections before taking an action that can change your photo library.
- Do not rely on the app as the only control for security, compliance, forensics, or evidence preservation.
7. Intellectual Property
The app, website, branding, interface, text, graphics, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the app or site to you. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the App Store rules.
You retain rights in the photos, videos, and other content that already belong to you. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process that content on your device, or through optional network features you start, for the purpose of providing the requested feature.
8. Third-Party Services and Apple
The app depends on Apple platforms and may call third-party services when you start optional network features. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control, including public breach-lookup results, network paths outside the app, or Apple system behavior.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, On-Device AI and this website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or free of harmful components, or that analysis results, storage estimates, security checks, or breach-lookup results will be accurate or suitable for a particular purpose.
Without limiting the above, the app is not a medical device, not a professional security audit, not a backup service, and not a guarantee against data loss, account compromise, or privacy exposure.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, On-Device AI and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, goodwill, data, media, or business opportunities, arising from use of the app or website. This includes loss connected with media deletion, incomplete scans, inaccurate labels, network checks, or identity-leak results.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or related to the app or website is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the app or subscription during the three months before the claim, or (b) USD 10 if you did not pay us. This does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence where it cannot be disclaimed, or rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
11. Termination
You may stop using On-Device AI at any time and may remove the app from your device. Removing the app does not by itself remove media in the system photo library, and you remain responsible for media changes you approved while using the app.
We may suspend or end access to the app or website if required by law, if the service is discontinued, or if you misuse the service in a way that creates legal, security, or operational risk.
12. Changes
We may revise these Terms when the app, website, legal requirements, or support practices change. The revised Terms will appear on this page with an updated date. Continuing to use On-Device AI after revised Terms take effect means you accept them to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree, stop using the app and website.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws that apply in your place of residence, except where another jurisdiction's mandatory law applies. Before bringing a formal claim, please try to resolve the matter in good faith by contacting support@todaynow.uk.
14. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent through the contact form or by email to support@todaynow.uk.
